Yvonne Light Scholarship Endowment Fund

Yvonne was a parishioner St. Thomas Parish in Redmond, Oregon. She was strong supporter of the newly started St. Thomas Academy founded in 2006, which started as a preschool and pre-kindergarten. At her death her family started an endowment fund in her name. The mission of St. Thomas Academy, now a preschool through 8th grade school, is to provide an educational program based on a strong faith, Christian values, and supporting environment. A percentage of the interest each year is used to fund scholarships to any student enrolled at St. Thomas Academy and a portion goes back into the principle to grow the fund.
