A documentary crew from South Korea Educational Broadcasting System came to Madras Tuesday, February 6th, to find answers to their nation’s aging population crisis. The reporters focused on the senior housing project going in on property bordered by St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on the north and the Jefferson County Senior Citizen’s Center on the south. Polishing the Brass
In preparation for last Easter, the men and women of Saint Augustine in Merril gathered for their annual brass cleaning at the parish hall. The participation of so many willing volunteers made what could have been a tedious task truly enjoyable, especially since the work was followed by a light luncheon of tea and scones for all who assisted in the work.
