Position Description:
The primary function of this position is to direct the overall operations of St. Vincent de Paul - Bend. The Director will manage all social service operations and fiscal management of the organization. Job duties include meeting with clients individually, supervising SVDP employees, and managing 50+ volunteer positions. Director will be in charge of donor relations, marketing, and fundraising. The SVDP Director is someone who can manage the operations of a nonprofit organization while maintaining great relationships with clients, volunteers, and community partners. The Director will report directly to the Board President or his/her appointee. Start date is March 1st, 2021.
Minimum Qualifications:
Standard workweek is Mondays from 9am-6pm and Tuesday-Friday from 9am-4pm.
Health Insurance: SVdP will pay an insurance stipend of $87.50 per pay period toward Director’s health insurance (this is $175 per month; and $2100 per year).
Vacation: Full-Time employees can earn Paid Vacation Time accruing to a maximum of ten (10) days or 80 hours per year. The accumulation of Paid Vacation Time begins the first month of employment and may be taken after six (6) months of consecutive employment. Vacation days do not carry over from year to year.
Sick Leave: Full Time employees are given six (6) days of sick leave per year or 48 hours per year for full-Time/full-Standing employees. Sick Leave does not carry over from year to year.
Paid Holidays (7 days) includes New Years’ Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.
