Father Leo Weckerle Legacy Endowment Fund

Fr. Leo Weckerly was the retired pastor of St. Thomas Church in Redmond, Oregon. He died on March 23, 2015. At his death he left a Knights of Columbus life insurance policy naming St. Thomas Academy as the beneficiary. The parish and school wanted to set up a fund to keep Fr. Weckerly’s generosity to the school on going. This fund mirrors the St. Thomas Education Endowment Fund with the added fund use for continuing education for staff of St. Thomas Parish. A portion of the interest is to be use for scholarships for Catholic Education of members of the parish and a portion of the interest goes to build up the principle of the fund.
